Purpite Wire Wrapped Pendant
A beautiful Purpite stone that is super dark, almost black, but flashes of purple in the light. Simply wrapped in tarnish-resistant pure copper wire.
Purpite is a mineral with varying amounts of iron. It can range from brownish-black to violet to dark red. First discovered in 1905, the best-known specimens come from Namibia, France, Western Australia, and North Carolina.
It is said that the purpite stone will help rid you of your frustrations and help resolve conflicts.
Raw copper and even plated or filled metals can tarnish or oxidize over time. Your purchase will include a cleaning cloth that can be used to clean the metallic surfaces. Oxidized copper or silver can develop a beautiful antiqued patina over time.
